School Life

A day in the life of a Crossroads learner

~School starts at 07:40

~On a Monday the Junior and Middle Units have assembly. This is where our teachers tell Mrs Jones how well we did the week before!

~At Crossroads we are very lucky because all of us go to Art at least once a week.

~We have break at 10:00 and at 12:00. Our tuck shop is famous for its lovely pizzas on a Friday!

~The Grade 1s and 2s go to Active Kids once a week and the rest of school to PE.

~The Grade 4 – 7s have one Drama period a week.

~We not only do lots of work in class, but we have Reading therapy, Computers and Library periods each week.

~At Crossroads we have Speech, Occupational and Remedial Therapists as well as school Psychologists.

~We love our Sport and Cultural activities in the afternoon!

~Our school closes at 13:30 for the Grade 0-2s’ 13:45 for the Grade 3-4s and 14:00 for the Grade 5-7s. On a Friday we are very lucky because we can go home at 13:00!
