Thursday the 12th November was World Quality Day. This day was introduced by the United Nations in 1990 in celebration and recognition of quality performance, innovation, growth and sustainability. Crossroads chose to celebrate and promote quality for the week by using Quality Street chocolates as our theme. All classes took part in decorating a paper ‘sweet’ to festoon the foyer with their quality goals. Many parents and Crossroads staff had their ‘sweets’ put up too. The learners who produced high quality work received a delicious Quality Street chocolate and had their amazing work displayed in the hall foyer.
On Friday the learners, their teachers and our staff released green balloons with our names on them as a reminder that quality keeps us wanting to go higher and higher.
